Common Questions

Answers to your burning questions

Is Katlehong Computer School accredited?

Yes. KCS, in partnership with Naleli Innovators Business School (NIBS), offers programmes accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). NIBS holds the following accreditation numbers: SDP090126105203, SDP090126105359, SDP241125201217, and SDP140126084502.

What is the difference between a QCTO qualification and a KCS short course?

A formal qualification is registered on the National Qualifications Framework and takes longer to complete. A KCS Career Module is a three-month block that builds a specific workplace capability and earns a NIBS certificate. Both are valuable; they serve different purposes. Our 2027 qualification pathway is being confirmed and we will publish the detail before enrolment opens.

I am a complete beginner with computers. Can I still enrol?

Yes. Many of our learners start with little or no prior computer experience. Our admissions team will confirm the right starting point for you before you enrol.
